Adell (Moore) McClellan, age 92, of Cleveland passed away peacefully Sunday, February 14th, 2016 at TLC Nursing Home in Oneonta. She is survived by her son Charles (Hettie) McClellan; daughter Carol "Sue" Thomas; grandchildren Angie (Jamie) Beasley, Denise (John) Pishota, Tracy (Jeremy) Camp, Kevin (Christy) Thomas; great grandchildren Andrew and Zac Beasley, Hunter, Luke and Sydney Pishota, Nicholas Kent, Jayce and Emily Camp, Karson Thomas. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Annie Moore; husband Brice McClellan, brothers Dilmon, Odell (who was her twin), Edgar Jackson, Claude Moore; sisters Florence McClellan, Katie Riddle, Ora Hubbard, and Dessie Longshore. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following at 1:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Mount Joy Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Mrs. McClellan was of the crafty nature, she especially enjoyed crocheting. She could throw her fishing line in with the best of them and loved to harmonize with the singing at church.
