Angel Lopez Segovia age 83, of Cleveland, Alabama passed away Monday, June 12th, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Lopez Segovia was survived by his wife of 63 years Yolanda Ruiz De Lopez, his sons Miguel Angel Lopez(Guadalope), Oscar Lopez(Guadalope), Juan Manuel Lopez(Tammy) and Jose Carlos Lopez(Dalila) his daughter Laura Yolanda Lopez(Ramiro), 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose Lopez and Bentura Segovia De Lopez and his son Alberto Lopez.

The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St. Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church 32015 Alabama Hwy 75 Oneonta, Alabama 35121, with Father James Hedderman officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Pallbearers will be Juan, Carlos, Migual, and Oscar Lopez, Roberto Contreras and Ramiro Cruz.

Mr. Lopez Segovia was a person who was always very involved with his community and his children's school in Mexico. The Federal number 2 school in Mexico named their gym after Mr. Lopez Segovia. He enjoyed having gatherings with his family, playing music and loved to dance. He was always helping other people, but most of all he loved his family very much.
