Obituary
Anita Posey age 76, of Hayden, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 24th, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Posey is survived by her sons Terry McCombs(Donna) and Barry McCombs, step-daughters Tracy Holladay(Robert) and Michelle Hawkins(Jeff), sister Mickey Smith, grandchildren Shaina McCombs and Lauren McCombs, great granddaughter Gisella McCombs, nieces Tammy Manley and Wendy Hamby, several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Louise Dickey Pointer, her husband Walton "Doc" Posey.
The family will receive friends at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, Thursday July 28th, 2022 from10:00 am until 11:00 am. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at 11:30 am at Nectar Cemetery, with burial to follow in Nectar Cemetery.
Mrs. Posey attended Locust Fork Church of God. She was an avid Alabama Fan, she loved to cook and travel, but most of all she loved her family very much.
Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
