Arthur Harvey Hogan, age 83, of Hayden passed away Friday, September 4th, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center. Survivors include son Stephen Dwaine (Cynthia) Hogan; daughters Angela Faye Cox, Rebecca Ann (Rudy) Phillips, Sarah Denise (Gilbert) Galvin; brother Harold (Doris) Hogan; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey Wilson and Venarlee Hogan; wife Fay Bullard Hogan; son Stewart Arthur Hogan; brother Fracis Hogan; sister Stella Mae Wynn. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Monday, September 7th, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at 11:00 am in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama. Mr. Hogan was retired fromThe Mouat Company as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a member of the Professional Engineers in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. He was a amateur pilot.
