Aunce "Hoover","Mac" McCay age 90, of PInson passed away Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 at St. Vincent's East. Survivors include wife Rebecca Moreland; daughter Savannah Cyree; a host of nieces, nephews and a lot of friends. He is preceded In death by parents William and Myrtle McCay; daughter Kathy Ann McCay, brothers Osborn "Cotton", Arvil "Dick", Earl "Coon", Woodrow "Woody" McCay; sisters Vera Nell Spurgeon, and Ruby Wall. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Friday, September 20th, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Pine Bluff Cemetery in Locust Fork, Alabama. Mr. McCay was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed the Hunting club for 15 yrs; and fishing, building homes, he was an avid Alabama fan and college football fan; loved his pets Olive, Bear, and Asher..
