Barbara Annette Gardner, born on November 15, 1946, departed this life on January 17, 2026. A devoted mother and grandmother, Barbara's passion for life touched all who knew her. She was a cherished member of her family, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, strength, and resilience.

Barbara is survived by her beloved sons, Danny Gardner (Delilah) and Steven Gardner (Alena), along with her daughter-in-law, Tyra Gardner. Her grandchildren, Morgan Karimi (Ribvar), Jonathan Gardner, Reese Parker (Dylan), and Karmari Gardner, were the light of her life, as were her great-grandchildren, Tatum Claire Gardner and Ayden Reid Karimi.

Her journey through life was profoundly shaped by the joy she found in a variety of pursuits. Barbara had a deep passion for drag racing, bringing excitement and thrill to her weekends. Her love for her family was paramount; she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Cooking was another one of her joys, as was indulging in old western shows that brought her comfort and nostalgia.

Barbara had a natural affinity for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and all the beauty nature provided. Sewing and shopping were pursuits she found joy in, often reflecting her vibrant personality and keen sense of style. As a dedicated member of the Cleveland Church of Christ, Barbara embraced her community with warmth and shared her faith with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Buck Gardner; her son, Jason Thomas Gardner; and her parents, Alfred Jason Thomas and Connie Stephens Thomas. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and impacted throughout her life.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Gardner, Erik Crosby, Brandon West, Adam Blackmon, and Richard Ottinger.
