Barbara (Huffman ) Gilbert, age 77, of Cleveland passed away Friday, December 5th, 2014 at Ridgewood Nursing Home. Survivors include 5 daughters, 9 step-children, one sister, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Gladys Jaeger Huffman, husband Aldon Gilbert, and son Lester R. Search III. The family will receive friends at the Green's Chapel Presbyterian Church on Friday, December 12th, 2014 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm in Green's Chapel Presbyterian Church, with burial to follow at Green's Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Mrs. Gilbert loved to travel, enjoyed sewing, knitting and smocking. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
