Barbara Jean McAnnally (Vaughn), aged 81, passed away on July 6, 2024, in Trafford, Alabama. Born on February 21, 1943, Barbara dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her family as a homemaker, a role she embraced with love and devotion.

Barbara was a lover of simple pleasures; she found joy in watching television, browsing social media, and engaging in long conversations with her sister "Norma". Her dog, Reese, was a cherished companion, providing her with great comfort and happiness.

She leaves behind a loving family: her son, Craig McAnnally; her sisters, Wanda Sue Vaughn and Norma Richey; and her brother, Vernon Vaughn. Barbara was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Christine Vaughn, her son, Keith McAnnally, her brother-in-law, Bobby Richey, and her sister-in-law, Panzy Vaughn.

Graveside services will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery in Dallas-Selfville on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 11:00 am. The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, AL, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Barbara's memory will be cherished by all who knew her, as she continues to live in the hearts of family and friends.
