Barbara Ann (Steele ) Smith age 82, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab Center in Hanceville, Alabama.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son Timothy Henry Smith, II, her brother John D. Steele(Pamela J.), her sister-in-law Barbara Steele, nephew John Steele(Shannon), cousins Regina and Ronald Hammond, Bobby and James Carney, Mike and Patsy Steele, her special friend Rebecca Pinehart. She was preceded in death by her parents John Hollis and Anna Mae Rinehart Steele, her husband Timothy Henry Smith and her brother Frank Ray Steele.

The family has requested no visitation or service at this time.

Mrs. Smith was the owner and operator of a postal box company for many years. She enjoyed working in her church and also with many special needs groups.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
