Betty Jo Sullins (Sterling) passed away on March 21, 2024, in Blountsville, Alabama, at the age of 89. She was born on July 31, 1934, in Blount County, Alabama, to David and Alma Rosalee (Bryan) Sterling.

Betty, known for her love of gardening, sewing, and cooking, also found joy in attending concerts and craft shows. Her warm and caring nature extended to her role as a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters Ronda Sullins and Donna Godfrey (Gary), her sister Helen Gunnells (Larry), her grandson Jared Godfrey (Christina), great-grandchild Swade Lee Godfrey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents David and Alma Sterling, her husbands Herbert Sullins and Hassel Atchley, her son-in-law Randy Eudy, 4 sisters, and 1 brother.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home,17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, Sunday March 24, 2024 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 PM at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Blountsville, Alabama with Bro. Michael Yopp officiating.
