Billy Gene Brown age 72, of Cleveland, Alabama passed away Friday, May 19th, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Phyllis Brown, his daughter Mary McCay(Chris), brother Wade Brown(Connie) his grandchildren Colt McCay, Kasen McCay, Baylee Goodwin and Brody McCay, nephews Ben Brown, Bill Brown and James Wyatt and his niece Beth Howland. He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Wade and Mattie Clowdus Brown.

The family has requested no public visitation. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at 2:00 pm

at the Edgewood Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama with Bro. Bob Hope officiating. Burial to follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed farming, but most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
