Bobby Ray Reid Sr. age 89, of Trafford passed away Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at St. Vincent's East..

Survivors include his wife Bernice Reid; sons Danny (Christy) Reid, Bobby Reid Jr.; daughters Carol Mills, Kimberly Reid, Cora Reid; daughter in law Vickie Reid; sister Martha Franklin; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Cora Reid; son Ricky Reid; brothers Andrew, Ernest, Ellis, Owen, and Charles Reid; sisters Myrtle Hitt, Trubie Beasley, twin Robby Reid, Idella Wade, Mildred Stephenson, and Erlene Hallman.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Trafford, Alabama.

Mr. Reid was involved with Locust Fork Ballpark, and Locust Fork Town Hall for many years. Mr. Reid was a Bethlehem Cemetery Official, and was very involved with his church. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite things was decorating for Christmas with lights..
