Bryan Scott "Stubby" Johnson, 60, of Cleveland, Alabama, passed away on August 31, 2024. Born on December 29, 1963, in Oneonta, Alabama, he was affectionately known as Scott to his friends and family. A lifelong resident of Alabama, Scott dedicated many years to laying and refinishing hardwood floors, a craft he both mastered and enjoyed.

Scott was an avid sports enthusiast, known for his outstanding football skills during his high school years at Cleveland High School. His passion for sports extended into his adult life as he took joy in coaching youth sports. A devoted Auburn fan, Scott also cherished the outdoors, spending his free time hunting and fishing. Above all, Scott loved cooking, grilling out, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren and family, who brought immense joy to his life.

Scott was a faithful member of Green's Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he participated in community and spiritual activities.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, Joyce Johnson, and their son, Justin Scott Johnson (Kendall). He also leaves his brother, Gary Walton Johnson (Lynn), his sister, Judy Price, his cherished grandchildren, Khloe Michell Green and Gracie Scott Johnson, along with a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Walton and Bonez Johnson, and his sister, Heady Denise Johnson.

Visitation for Mr. Johnson will be held Tuesday evening September 03, 2024 at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Highway 160, Cleveland, Alabama 35049. A graveside service to celebrate Scott's life will be held on Wednesday September 04, 2024 at 11:00 am at Green's Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama with Bro. David Linski officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Johnson, Manuel Dover, Michael Johnson, Reed Johnson, Mitch Price and Logan McGee. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
