Charles Ralph Young of Blountsville, Al age 82 passed away March 31, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Survivors include his wife Betty Jean Young, son Darrin Young (Beverly), daughter Charlene Phillips (Dale) sister Karen Crauswell (Greg), grandchildren Shawn Stone (Aislinn) , Necole Stone Haygood (Mitchell), Hayden Young (Alli), Kailey Young, and five great grandchildren. Mr. Young is preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Ruby Lee Young and sister Brenda Young. The family will receive friends at Blount Count/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Hwy. 160, Cleveland, Al. 35049 Monday, April 5, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 pm. Graveside services will follow visitation Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Mount Tabor Cemetery, Mount Tabor Cemetery Road, Blountsville, AL 35031. Mr. Young was a member of the Lions Club and he served as a volunteer with the Blountsville Senior Center. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, flower gardening and cooking., but most of all he loved his family. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
