Cynthia Denise (Hodges ) Archer, age 51, of Locust Fork passed away Friday, January 1st, 2016 at St. Vincent's Main.

Survivors include her father Elbert Hodges; stepfather Richard N. Scott; husband Dale Archer; son Matthew Blake (Jessica) Archer; brother Warren Hodges; sister Pamela Sessions; grandchild Matthew Blake Archer Jr. She is preceded in death by her mother Donna Jean Calvert Scott.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in PInson, Alabama.

Mrs. Archer loved her grandbaby, was an avid Alabama fan, enjoyed hummingbirds, water skiing, gardening, and to sit by a fire barrel in her backyard.
