Obituary

Cindy was the cherished daughter of Sidney Clarence Rowland, Jr. and Diane Jackson. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Steven Darryl Rowland. Despite the heartache of loss, Cindy's spirit and warmth shone brightly through her love for those around her. She is survived by her devoted son, Charles Jake Rowland; her beloved mother, Diane Jackson; her caring brother, Chuck Bennefield; and her loving sister, Starr Minck, who shared countless memories with her husband, DJ Minck. Cindy was also a cherished aunt, leaving behind nieces Bethany, Kaci, Ella Minck, and MariBeth Bennefield, along with nephews Michael Jernigan, Jr., JJ Minck, and Jackson Bennefield, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

A member of Gardendale First Baptist Church, Cindy's faith was a guiding light in her life. She found great comfort and community within her church family, where she contributed her time and love generously. Her faith was a source of strength for her, and she embodied the values of kindness and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cindy was an avid Auburn Football fan, her loyalty and passion for the team as fierce as her love for her family. Many cherished memories were made on game days, where she cheered loudly and proudly for her Tigers. She was a very talented artist, Cindy could look at anything and bring out the beauty and give the painting a story that would uplift any person's life with its beauty. Her enthusiasm for life extended beyond sports and art; she was a doting mother, a loving daughter, a supportive sister, and a caring friend, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Westside Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama, where friends and family can come together to honor and remember Cynthia's remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the National Ataxia Foundation, reflecting Cindy's spirit of generosity and her enduring legacy of love.

Cynthia Andrea Rowland will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She taught us the value of family, the joy of loyalty, and the power of love, and for that, we are forever grateful. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she shared so freely during her time with us.
