Mr. Daniel Thomas, Sr. age 94, of Remlap passed away Friday, August 4th, 2017 . Survivors include son Dan (Sherie) Thomas, Jr.; 3 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Elsie Jane Thomas; wife Margaret Ann (Means) Thomas; sister Wanda Reid; and 1 grandchild. Mr. Thomas was involved with the VFW Post #76, Mardi Gras Society, Forever WILD Program, all in Mobile, AL. He also loved hunting and fishing. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 7th, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Edgewood Cemetery on County Hwy 13, Locust Fork, AL 35097. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
