Danny "Buck" Gardner, age 74, of Trafford passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 26th, 2017 at his residence. Survivors include wife Barbara Thomas Gardner; sons Danny C. and Delilah Gardner, Steven S. and Alena Gardner, Jason T. and Tyra Gardner; brothers Garry Gardner, David and Linda Gardner, Morris and Linda Gardner; sister Charlotte and Herb Massey; grandchildren Morgan Gardner, Jonathan Gardner, Reese Gardner, and Kamara Gardner. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Lee and Mary Reid Gardner. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following at 12:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Nectar Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Mr. Gardner loved drag racing and adored playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed building houses as he owned his own construction business.
