David Eugene Alexander age 52, passed away June 19, 2020. He is survived by his special guardian mother Brenda Alexander, sister Lisa Cooper (Russell), brother Norman Alexander (Marilyn), special caregivers Mary and John Milstead, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Lawson and Joan Alexander, brother Lawson Alexander Jr., and special guardian father Glenn Alexander. David loved the Lord, going to church on Sundays, watching Alabama football, Nascar, and any western movie. He was also a big Elvis fan. Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 11:00am at the Sunrise Cemetery in Pinson, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arc of Central Alabama- Blount County Division, Hope Hospice, or any Down Syndrome charity. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
