David T. Raborn, 56, went to join our Savior, and dance on the streets of gold on March 27th.
David spent his life sharing the joy, and love of Jesus with others. He and his wife built a life, and ministry based on love, and compassion. He had a very curious mind, and was eager to study new information. He earned two masters degrees, one in ministry and one in art of biblical studies. He was very proud of the people his children have become. His role as Poppie to his grandkids was a joyous one, and brought him a lot of fun, and a full heart. He loved his entire family dearly. He was quite the jokester, always ready with some humor to brighten your day.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Maggie Raborn. His life will continue to be celebrated by his loving wife Jackie Raborn, their children Christopher Raborn (Sally P.), Chasity Raborn (Cody S.), Beth Sample (Paul J.), Jason Nicholson (Mandy), his grands Jaedyn, Wyatt, Avery, Rowan, Kris, and Gilly, his sisters Renee Andrus (Blake), Kathy McNair, several wonderful nieces, nephews, as well as a lifetime of friends, and extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Palisades Park in Oneonta, AL. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Palisades Park.
