Donald Ray Holloway, Sr., age 78, of Locust Fork passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 surrounded by his family at Diversicare in Oneonta. Mr. Holloway enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include wife Mary Frances Webb Holloway; daughters Donna Holloway Hosey, Cynthia Elaine (Joseph) Thomas, Susie (Roger) Lowery; brother Allen (Cindy) Holloway; sisters Sue (Larry) Cleghorn, Carolyn (Richard) Riggins, Cathy (Charles) Dabbs, Gail Sivley, Priscilla (Heath) Tidwell; grandchildren Andy Ray Holloway, Donald Ray (Adrienne) Holloway, III, Shannan Nicole (Kevin) Cook, Sherry Griffin, Paul (Stephanie) Statham, Trey Holloway, Connor Lowery, Sophia Lowery; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Dalton and Mary Lee Holloway; son Donald Ray Holloway, Jr.; brother Gary Holloway; sisters Vickie Holloway and Teresa Hitt. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Friday, April 28th, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Trafford, Alabama. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
