Elizabeth Ann "Shell" Gilliland age 81, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, March 30th, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include son Morris Wade Gilliland (Kathy), daughter Sabrena Gilliland, brothers Kenneth Shell (Jackie), Billy Shell (Celia), brother-in-law Ricky Gilliland, sisters-in-law Janet Ray (Ricky), Diane Gilliland (Gerald), Saderia Gilliland (Keith), grandchildren Daniel, Macie, Gunar Gilliland, and great-granddaughter Kylee Gilliland. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Gilliland and her parents Kermit and Bessie (Allred) Shell.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Green's Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama.

Mrs. Gilliland loved the outdoors, especially gardening and flowers. She enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales. She loved her family dearly but she adored her great- grandchild.
