Eloise Wells Doty age 82, of Cleveland passed away Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Survivors include: sons Philip Doty and David Doty (Ginger), daughters Jerri Wood (Terry) and Ramona Standridge, sisters Brenda Whatley and Polly Hodges, grandchildren Jessica Richey (Jason), Kimberly Floyd, Garry Dean Standridge, Elizabeth Storey (Kyle), Grace Hosey (Trace), Tristan Rittenhouse (Caitlin) and Oliva Rittenhouse, seven great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wayne Doty. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, On Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. There will be a private Graveside service on Thursday 05/06/21 with burial to follow at Nectar Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Mrs. Doty was one of the original members of the Homemaker Club in Oneonta and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Nectar United Methodist Church and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
