Mr. Elvin Williams age 92, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wives Ruby Williams and Sandy Williams, daughter Debra Kay Summers. He is survived by his daughter Cathy Pate (Mike) of Locust Fork; sons Stanley Williams (Tangela) of Blountsville; Phillip Williams (Judy) of Warrior; 10 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild. He is also survived by his sister Callie Cryer and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Sunday, January 15th, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 16th, 2023 at 11:00 am in The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Graves Gap Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.

Mr. Williams was a long term resident of Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force. He was a member of the High Rock First Congregational Methodist Church. Mr. Williams enjoyed farming, gardening, and woodworking. He was a big family man and loved his family dearly.
