Emery Kate Bennett age 5, of Cleveland passed away Friday, July 10th, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Survivors include her mom Shelby Hicks Bennett, dad Scott Bennett, sister Avery Rae Bennett, grandparents Sonya and Daniel Hicks, grandmother Linda Plylar, uncles Dakota Hicks, Shayne Rush and a host of other uncles, aunts, great grandparents and many other loved ones. She is preceded In death by her grandfather Marvin Bennett. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Sunday, July 12th, 2020 from 12:00 pm untill 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 12th, 2020 at 2:00 pm in The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Ricetown cemetery in Blount Springs, Alabama. Emery loved "Mickey Mouse", the movie "Frozen", playing dress up, as her favorite Disney Princesses. She enjoyed playing dolls, swimming, coloring, and of course getting prizes. Emery loved her little sister Avery and her dog "Opie". She could always light up a room where ever she was, and she loved everyone.. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
