Floyd Thomas Evans age 83, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife Pauline Evans, son Stanley Evans(Diann), daughter Paula Hall(Bruce), brother John Evans, sister Eva Grace Adams, grandchildren Ashley Garrison(Heath) and Lance Hall, great grandchildren Emma, Morgan and Conner Garrison, numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Evans is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Millie Eastman Evans and son Gerald Douglas Evans.

The family will receive friends at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 from 10:00 am until12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Nectar Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Herbert Starks, Bart Blocker, Everett Smith, Cully Doty, Glenn Sherbet, Kevin Sherbet and Steve Matthews.

Mr. Evans retired from Alabama Power Company after 37 years of service. After retirement he went into the electrical business on his own. He enjoyed traveling, camping, but most of all he loved his family.
