Mr. Garfield Chitwood age 83, of Cleveland passed away Monday, July 13th, 2020 at his residence. Survivors include son Steve (Carolyn) Chitwood, daughters Becky Chitwood, Vernie Chitwood Silvers, sister Mary Lou Allred, 4 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. He is preceded In death by his parents Earl and Peralee Chitwood, wife Mary Ellen Chitwood, brother Wesley Chitwood, sisters Linda Simmons, Dora Smith, Martha Reynolds, grandchild Matthew Chitwood and one great- grandchld. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Zion Hill Cemetery, 1346 Zion Hill Road Horton, Alabama 35980. Mr. Chitwood loved Logging, He worked very hard as a logger and was self-employed. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
