Gary Franklin Smith age 77, of Locust Fork, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 16th, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 51 years Carolyn Smith, his daughter DeLana Smith, sisters Barbara Joan Gaddis and Brenda Lee Minyard(Kenneth), and a host of nieces, nephews and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Comer and Opal (Austin) Smith.

There will be no visitation. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 at 11:00am at Pine Bluff Cemetery with Brother Daryl Holt officiating. Pallbearers will be Edwin Simmons, Michael Simmons, Andy Shannon, Randy Shannon, Chris Dendy, Terry Johnson and Joey Skelton. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make donations to Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church or the Blount Animal Rescue Kennel "BARK".

Mr. Smith served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed animal rescue and was the overseer of the Blount Animal Rescue Kennel "BARK". Mr. Smith enjoyed maintaining cars and loved to buy new cars. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
