Gayla Lynn (Thomas) Rivera, age 51, of Oneonta passed away Monday, October 7th, 2019 at St. Vincent's East Hospital. Left to cherish precious memories are parents Billy Ray Thomas and Diane Parvin; sons Jessie Pena, Fred Pena, Homero Rivera, Jr.; daughters Maria Pena, Ashley Pena; brother Christopher Thomas; sisters Amy Thomas, Venessa Morales, Anna Espinosa; 13 grandchildren and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Antonio Molina. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to be at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Blountsville, Alabama.
