George Wayne LeCroy age 79, of Remlap, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. LeCroy is survived by his daughter Nicole LeCroy Scott (Terry), granddaughter Courtney Scott (Kayla and Madden Nash), his grandson Chase Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Eloise Love LeCroy, wife Jean LeCroy, his son Tony LeCroy and his sister Lena Baggett.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 2:30 pm in the Midway Cemetery, 3904 Oakwood Drive Adamsville, Alabama 35005 with Keith Scott officiating. The family has requested no visitation.

Mr. LeCroy retired from the Birmingham Fire Department after 20 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, and was an avid Alabama football fan, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
