Gloria Elizabeth Russell Wear age 91, of Blountsville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 at St Vincent's East in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Wear was survived by her daughter Mary Katherine Kimbrough(David), her grand-daughter Terra Kimbrough and her loving little dog Sophie. She was preceded in death by her parents Hollie and Fannie Russell, her husband of 67 years Hobert Lloyd Wear and her sister Mary Lucy Morcom.

The family will receive friends at Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St. Hwy. 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Friday, July 14th, 2023 from 10:00 am. until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 14th, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Blount County /Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with Stanley Ryan and Tom Brown officiating, with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bellew, Eddie Sandlin, Roger Vanzant, Wayne Dobbs, Ronnie Erwin and Ronnie Sweatt.

Mrs. Gloria Wear was a member of Cleveland Church of Christ, she enjoyed cooking, working with flowers, gardening, crafts, in which she was very creative in crafting and traveling, but most of all she loved her family.
