Hazel Nell (Shelton ) Adams age 84, of Oneonta, Alabama passed away Monday, September 30th, 2024 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mrs. Adams was survived by her husband of 60 years Tommie P. Adams, son Timmy S. Adams (Sonying), her sister Lucy Shelton, grandchildren Andrew P. Adams (Lexie) and Lenny Robinson, great grandson Lucas Robinson and also by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Jiles and Mary Hudson Shelton, her siblings Jiles Shelton, Jr., Roberta C. Shelton, Juanita Shelton, Waylon (Jeff) Shelton, Margarita (Marge) Shelton, Joyce Shelton and Howard Shelton.

The family will receive friends at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 St. Hwy. 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at 11:00 am. in the Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery, with Bro. Seburn Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Adams enjoyed canning and cooking, but most of all she enjoyed spending valuable time with her family and loved them very much.
