Helen Jones, age 83 of Pinson went to be with Jesus Friday, April 16, 2021 at her residence. Surviving are her children son Brian Jones (Cathy), daughter Bonita Franklin (Mark), grandchildren Kara Reid (Matt), Kimberly Franklin, Daniel Jones (Allison) Leighann Franklin (Cody), Etta Beatty (Millard), great grands Darby & Bodie Reid, Zoey & Jaxon Jones, Kaiden & Alaina Franklin , Thomas, Cliff & Millia Beatty, sisters Ruby Grindle (Howard), Goldie Malone, sister in laws Lynette Oden, Margie Glover & Brenda Jones, brothers Lonnie Oden (Virginia) & Phillip Oden (Sandra). Mrs. Jones had multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Oren Jones, parents Tony and Letha Oden, brother Lynn Oden and brother in law Donald Jones. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday - April 20th, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Hwy 160, Cleveland, AL 35049 with Bro. Craig Gilley officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday - April 20th, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Austin Creek Cemetery, Hayden, Al. Mrs. Jones loved spending time with her family and being "Mimi" to her grands. She never met a stranger and loved hobbies which include sewing, growing flowers, baking all types of cakes. She was a long time member of Hughes Memorial Baptist in Bradford, Al. She will be missed by all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing we will see her again. Pallbearers include Darryl Oden, Jeff Oden, Allen Tilley, Terry Hogue, Cliff Beatty, Daniel Jones and Tyler Bright. A special thanks to the Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
