Ileen (Gosser) Walker, age 90, of Mooresville Indiana, previously of Hayden, Alabama, passed away Friday, June 9th, 2017 at Millers Merry Manor Nursing Facility. Mrs. Walker enjoyed life; she was a dedicated church member and loved to teach Sunday School. Mrs. Walker was a talented artist. Survivors include son Edwin and Mabel Roy; daughters Stephanie and James Taylor, Shirley and Harold Hood; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Cindy Gosser; husband Max E. Walker; daughter Karen French; brothers James and Garland Gosser; sisters Veda, Vonnie, Olive, and Ednie. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at 10:00 am in The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Warrior, Alabama. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
