James Edward Anderson, age 58, of Blountsville passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Anderson was a member of Celebrate Recovery, and the Hazmat Team with Tyson Foods. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, collecting movies, shooting pool and playing pinball. Survivors include wife Tonya Horton Anderson; sons Joseph Adam Anderson (Lillie), Jack Edward Anderson (Matha); brother Larry Anderson (Henrietta); sisters Gloria Brown (Johnny), Gail Shull (Jimmy); grandchildren Jeffrey Anderson, Kaylee Brooke Anderson, Precious Anderson, Brianna Cain, Hailey Cooney and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by parents Wendell and Helen Anderson; brother Bernard Louis Anderson; sisters Vivian Collins, Debbie Welch. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 27th, 2019 at 2:00 pm in United Children of God Church, Mount Ebell Road Oneonta, Alabama 35121. Friends and family are invited.
