James Carroll Sr. age 80, of Locust Fork passed away Monday, September 2nd, 2019 at his residence. Survivors include wife Joanna Carroll, Sons: James Carroll Jr. (Ana), Michael Carroll (Rhodana), David Carroll (Wanda), Steven Carroll (Mariah), Christopher Carroll (Megan), Mark Medina (Sandra), and Stephen Medina. Daughters: Conny Brunson (Terry), Anna Schack (Kevin), Dawn Nier (Brad Stefanov), Debra Hitch (Jeff), Alicia McIntosh (Chris). Two Brothers, One sister, 39 grandchildren and 16 great-grand children. He is preceded In death by his mother and son Keith Medina. The family will receive friends at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, Thursday, September 5th, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 6th, 2019 at 9:30 am in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at the Alabama National Cemetery. Mr. Carroll retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service. He was a member of DAV Chapter 38, American Legion of Snead, VFW in Cullman, Vietnam 416, Grateful Heart of Oneonta, the Legion Riders, and the Patriot Guard.
