James Edward Davis Sr. age 86, of PInson passed away Saturday, November 26th, 2016 at his Residence . Survivors include Wife: Eulah Faye Davis, Sons: James E.(Carol) Davis and Deni (Beth) Davis, Daughters: Rita (Bill) Summerford and Patty (Mike) Gallups. Sister: Johnnie Farmer. Seven Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren., Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents: Willard Arthur and Flora Woods Davis, brothers: Marlin Davis and Wilver Davis, sisters: Alma Potts, Virginia Reep, Betty Vann and Bernice Winfrey. One grandchild and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church, 15487 Remlap Drive, Remlap, AL 35133 - Friday December 2nd, 2016 - 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow visitation at 12:00 pm with burial at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinson , AL. Mr. Davis was employed and retired from Pemco Aeroplex as a sheet metal worker.. He served as a deacon in his church and loved hunting and fishing. He was also gifted in the art of wood working.. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
