James Head age 88, of Cleveland passed away Monday, August 9th, 2021 at St Vincent's East Hospital. Survivors include his wife Ruth Head, daughter Jana Jackson (Royce), grandson James Collin Jackson and sister Janey Head. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Irene Head, wife Jeanette Head, brothers Jerry Head, Robert "Key" Head, Charlie Head and sister Sarah Hendrix. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Thursday, August 12th, 2021 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at 4:00 pm in Cleveland United Methodist Church Cemetery 7100 County Highway 1 Cleveland, Alabama 35049. Mr. Head was a veteran of the United States Army. His passion was his Cleveland community. He loved farming, building, engineering, and developing. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
