JB Hays age 83, of Hayden passed away Saturday, April 25th, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by his family and friends. Survivors include wife Nell Hays, daughter Sharon Hays, grandchild Samantha Doty (Patrick), great-grandchildren Tyler Holland and Paisley Doty, and special friends Frankie and Julia Wall. He is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Argie Hays, daughter Susan Hays, sisters Catherine Hays Turner and Olene Hays Townsend. Mr. Hays loved to hunt quail, fishing, farming, and Alabama football. The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hays Cemetery or the Farmers Federation. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
