Jo Ann (Goode) Brooks, age 67, of Blountsville passed away Monday, September 5th, 2016 at Brookwood Medical Center . Survivors include spouse Charles Brooks; sons Chris (Stephanie) Brooks, Shane (Dana) Brooks; brother Jimmy Smith; sisters Helen Allgood, Pam Mayo; grandchildren Tiffany D'Angelo, Tyler Brooks, Kyle Brooks, Brady Brooks; great grandchildren Paisley D'Angelo, Avaeah Brooks. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Velma Goode. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Thursday, September 8th, 2016 from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 8th, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Fowler Springs Cemetery in Blountsville, Alabama. Mrs. Brooks was retired from Diversified Fabricating as a Office Manager. A great cook who loved to sew, she also enjoyed craft work, making dolls, quilting, flower arranging, and antiquing.
