Joey Wayne Richey age 53, of Trafford, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at St. Vincent's Blount.

Joey is survived by his wife Olivia Tawbush Richey, Olivia's son and daughter-in-law Sean Smith(Anna),his mother Norma Vaughn Richey, a son and two daughters, sister Rhonda Richey, a granddaughter, nieces April Davis(Josh) and Ashley Hayes, nephew T.J. Horn(Christina) and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Joe Richey.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Richey attended Good Shepherd Community Church in Hayden, Alabama. He was an avid Alabama Football Fan, enjoyed catfishing on the river, loved to play the guitar and had a passion for 70's and 80's country music. He would enjoy having his friend's over and playing pool, but most of all he loved and enjoyed his family very much..
