Kirk Aaron Peterson, age 50, passed away on September 2, 2025, in his home, in Cleveland, Alabama. Born on December 4, 1974, in California, Kirk later moved to Montana, as a teenager, where he grew to enjoy hunting and fishing.

Upon joining the U.S. Army, he served in Germany and Bosnia. Beyond his military career he lived in Alabama where he learned to love Alabama Football, heavy metal music and his dogs.

Kirk is survived by his mother, Lois Peterson; daughters, Katelyn and Rebecca Peterson; sister, Candie Newland; and nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Brandy Peterson; and father Emil Peterson.
