Launita "Ann" (Edwards) Tawbush, of Oneonta, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on March 29, 1936, Ann lived a life filled with warmth and joy that touched all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Andy Tawbush; her brother, Phillip Edwards; her sisters, Carolyn Blackmon (Rex) and Betty Grace Hudson (Wayburn); her grandchildren, Crystal and Cody Tawbush; and her great-grandchild, Lawson Bernard. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Tawbush; her daughter, Regina Dannett Tawbush; her brother, Billy Edwards; and her sisters, Jeweldeen Delfave and Christine Bryan.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on the same day from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Tabernacle Cemetery.

Ann found beauty in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for fishing and gardening, with a particular love for flowers that mirrored her vibrant spirit. A skilled cook, she delighted family and friends with meals prepared from the heart. She also cherished traveling to Amish country and the mountains, where she found peace and inspiration.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate to know her. May those who loved Ann find solace in remembering the joy she brought into their lives.
