Lucy Ellen Ballard Dotson age 94, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Dotson is survived by her son's Danny Dotson(Alice) and Steve Russell Dotson, daughter Sandra Newton(Charles), 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Eli and Minnie Yost Ballard, her husband Russell Dotson, daughter Margaret Dean, grandson Michael Dean and her granddaughter Julie Dean.

A memorial will be held Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049.

Mrs. Dotson worked with the senior citizen's in Nectar, Alabama for 10 years. She loved to read and put puzzles together. Loved to work with flower's, but most of all she loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed..
