Luevell (Fowler) Kelley age 91, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at her residence. Survivors include Son: Jerry (Debbie) Kelley. Mrs. Kelley had 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Mr. John Henry Fowler and Mrs. Myrtie Jane Franks Fowler, Husband: Mr. Howard Kelley, Daughter: Glenda Faye Owens and Sisters: Carrie Fowler Self, Odessa Fowler Peterson and Mildred Fowler Tidwell. The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23rd, 2017 - 11:00 am at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home with burial to follow at Green's Chapel Cemetery in Cleveland , AL. Mrs. Kelley was a devoted housewife, mother and Granny. She was an avid Atlanta Braves and Crimson Tide Fan. She loved going to the Nectar Senior Citizens Center, enjoyed blue grass music, gospel music and word search puzzles. She made the best chicken and dressing and "cat-head" biscuits. Her grandchildren loved to sit in her lap and she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren as a "Baby Whisperer". Mrs. Kelley was the oldest living member of Green's Chapel Church and will be greatly missed. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
