Lynn (Doc) Baty, age 60, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, February 19th, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Baty loved to cook for his family and friends and enjoyed fishing. He was an electronic technician and co owner of Baty TV here in Blount County. Survivors include his daughter Ashley and Jared Jones; brother Martin Baty; sister Nan and Tony Fallin; grandchildren Chelsea and Chase Jones; several nieces and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Edison and Nila Price Baty. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at 2:30 pm in Easley Baptist Church Cemetery 1441 Easley Church Road Oneonta, Alabama 35121. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
