Mahlon D. Hancock age 84, of Remlap, Alabama passed away Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife Evelyn Wynona Elrod Hancock, sons Wesley Hancock(Melissa) and Davy Hancock(Julie), brother Cleedis Hancock(Joan), sister Pat Honeycutt(Ricky), grandchildren Brad Hancock, Caleb Hancock(Rachel), Joshua Hancock Dakota Hancock and Emily Hancock, great grandchildren Hadleigh, Hudson and Audrey Hancock. Mr. Hancock was preceded in death by his parents Avery and Sarah Catherine Starnes Hancock, brothers Reedis and Billy Hancock.

The family will receive friends at Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:00am. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Marsh Cemetery in Locust Fork, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Franke Hancock, Jason Honeycutt, Brad, Joshua, Caleb and Dakota Hancock.

Mr. Hancock proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a very godly man and attended Baldwin Church of Christ in Cullman, Alabama. Mr. Hancock loved his truck, he was a very talented cabinet maker. He enjoyed watching old western's, enjoyed camping with his grandchildren on all different occasions. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much.
