Marie Lillian (Armstrong ) Wolfe age 90, of Hayden, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at St. Vincent's Downtown.

Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her nephew Freddie Roberts, her nieces Barbara Duke and Karen Hemphill, cousin Ronald Hogeland and her extended and much loved family Larry and June Armstrong, Shirley and Larry Anderson and Susan Delenne, she was survived also by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, 3 very special friends Kathy Armstrong, Shirley Anderson and Susan Delenne. She was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Dora Armstrong, her grandparents Will and Lauretta Hogeland, Bill and Nishey Armstrong, her sisters Olene Armstrong, Louise Armstrong Roberts, her brother-in-law Ralph Roberts,her nephew Jeffery Wayne Roberts, cousin Kenneth Hogeland and her extended and much loved family Kathleen Armstrong and Ann Stone.

The family will receive friends at the Hayden Church of God Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Hayden Church of God, with Bro. Denny Armstrong officiating, with burial to follow at Graves Gap Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Bubba Duke, Rusty Canterberry, Larry Armstrong, Cliff O'Rear, Larry Anderson and Tommy Armstrong.

Marie was born and raised in Blount County, and attended Hayden School.

Marie was an author, and was a staff writer for the Blount Banner. She loved animals, children and the elderly. She enjoyed working in her garden and planting pretty flowers. She was a member of Hayden Church of God and loved her God very much. Marie loved her Country, serving in the armed forces during the Korean War. She loved her family very much and was an avid student of her families ancestry.
