Mary Marie (Johnson ) Duarte age 62, of Locust Fork, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 14th, 2023 at St. Vincent's East Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mrs. Duarte is survived by her husband of 16 years Juan Duarte, her daughters Christy McClung(Michael) and Cindy McClung(Delvin), sister Shirley Smith, grandchildren Adrian Trent McClung, Destiny Marie Duarte and Devon Wray Duarte, her best friends Patty Horton and Yolanda Wade. She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Frances Swann Johnson.

There will be no visitation. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
