Mary Elizabeth (Tidwell) Logan, age 87, of Goshen, Indiana; previously of Blount County, passed away Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 at the home of her daughter. She was born October 11, 1930 in Jefferson County, Alabama to Rev. Olin Clint and Gertrude (Henderson) Tidwell. On August 14, 1946, she married Dwight Moody Logan. He passed away on April 11, 2001. Survivors include three children, Mary Ann (Lyle) Crider of Locust Fork,Alabama, Betty (Kirby) Freeland of Goshen, Indiana, and William Michael (Aycil) Logan of Cleveland, Alabama; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. A Goshen resident for the past 10 years, Mary was a member of Goshen Christian Church. Prior to moving to Indiana, she attended Rosa United Methodist Church, and Locust Fork Baptist Church. She worked for 23 years making Wrangler jeans at Blue Bell. Mary enjoyed attending ladies Bible studies, fishing, and preserving fruits and vegetables. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Sunday, November 12th, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 12th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery in Oneonta, Alabama.
